For students

The Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival is intentionally international and intergenerational. We are without borders, and value the transmission of ideas and energies between people at various stages of their education and careers. The Festival is founded by a quartet of teachers, who spend their lives with students, and therefore are passionate about transformation, illumination, and inspiration. We thrive in a mutually beneficial symbiosis, where we all grow, evolve, and become different people through the process.

If it is true that the theatre cannot exist without an audience, it is also the truth that theatre cannot survive without young audiences. VSFF craves and values the energies that come from youth, and also strives to engage in possibilities and practices where everyone can grow and flourish. With that in mind, the Festival has created several opportunities particularly for students, which include Internship opportunities in the work of the Festival, a Review Contest during the Festival, as well as a Visual Contest inspired by the Festival.
