Nina Sallinen is an actress from Finland.
She has her Masters Degree from the National Finnish Drama School in Helsinki. In Finland she worked at the Tampere Worker’s Theater and The Q Theater among other theaters. She also starred in a popular comedy TV serie in Finland.
In Chicago she co-founded a theater company called A Walk About Theater Company, where she worked on several shows including her one woman show Poor Poor Lear, which she translated and adapted to English.
In Los Angeles where she lives nowadays, she works with several theater companies including The Geffen Playhouse, The Odissey THeater Ensamble, The Road Theater Company among others.
Nina is also a memeber of Lit Moon Theater Company in Santa Barbara, where she has worked on several shows in Santa Barbara and toured Europe with Lit Moon.
Nina’s show Poor Poor Lear has traveled from Finland to around the U.S. to Macedonia, Sweden, Serbia and now Italy.
