Are you born evil, or is malice the consequence of circumstances in life?
Inspired by the book Shakespeare’s Villains by Maurice Charney one actor plunged into the world of Shakespearean malice. The result become a journey where we meet seven of Shakespeare’s villains – Richard III, Aaron, Edmund, Iago, Claudius, Shylock and Macbeth, followingthe actor trying to approach their different evil qualities. Shakespeare and Malice lets us enjoy lust and greed through the characters eyes and shows us how the aesthetics of evil may bring forth the darkness in people.
